Golf tournament to benefit Katy boy, Limbs of Love
On June 24, 2010, Talan Holmes was born to proud parents with several unexpected and unexplained complications.
He was born without a right lung, right pulmonary artery and right arm.
This smiling infant is also missing many key features in the lower half of his right leg, which will now require amputation, and has a hole in his heart. Despite the fact that both of his parents have medical insurance offered through their employers, the coverage does not come close to covering the expenses related to his issues.
Houston-based charity, Limbs of Love, is partnering with the Holmes family to help raise money for their young son and the medical expenses that lie ahead with a charity golf tournament to be hosted on Friday at the River Ridge Golf Club in Sealy.
